LAYTON - Linda Walsh, 57, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2005 at her home, after a short battle with cancer. She was born July 25, 1947 in Provo, Utah to Reed Harmer Walsh and Hattie Ruth Huber. Linda was a graduate of Bountiful High School and Weber State College where she majored in Elementary Education.
She taught school in Davis County for 33 years where she developed countless friends with her loved and respected associates. While teaching, she touched the lives of many young people. Her patience and love will long be remembered by literally hundreds of children.
For many years Linda was a compassionate caregiver for her aging parents. She was a dedicated member of her faith and gave countless hours of service.
Linda grew up without sisters and always yearned for the experience of having one. She felt fortunate to belong to the Relief Society organization, for therein she found not one, but many sisters to fill that void. She felt their love and loved them in return.
Linda is survived by three brothers, Reed (Katy) Walsh, Mentor, Ohio; David (Jane) Walsh, Fruit Heights, Utah; and James (LaRee) Walsh, Peoria, Arizona. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews whom she adored and fussed over.
Linda will always be remembered for her caring and compassionate service and her generous nature. Even while suffering with her own struggles she continued to lift and comfort others

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the Layton 38th Ward/Heritage Building, 725 South 200 East, Layton, Utah. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Saturday morning from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Farmington City Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, medical staff, hospice workers and loyal friends for their loving care.
