He was born on October 23, 1947 to Richard F. and Carole Anderson Beutler in Richfield, Utah. He graduated from Bountiful High School and Weber State College. Served a two year mission to Equidor and Peru, and one year in Columbia in the Peace Corps. He married Evelyn Frandsen on March 17, 1977; later divorced. He worked at the Internal Revenue Service for 17 years and was working there at the time of his illness.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Marie Beutler; two stepchildren, Laura and Michael Russell; parents; two brothers, Roger Jon Beutler, Bountiful; Paul Steven Beutler, Clearfield. He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Kent Beutler.
Funeral services will be Thursday January 24, 1991 at 12 noon at Bountiful 45th LDS Ward Chapel, 115 East 2000 South, Bountiful. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and from 11-11:45 a.m. at the chapel prior to the funeral. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
