SALEM, Ohio – Sharon Lee Bowman, 40, of 664 W. Pidgen Rd., Salem, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 29, 1988, at a Salem Hospital of causes pending a medical examiner’s report.
She was born July 7, 1947, in Ogden, a daughter of Robert L. and Jeanine Murdock Uhrey. She married Larry Mariani, April 6, 1964. They were later divorced. She married Bruce Bowman, March 15, 1974, in Elko, Nev. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was reared and educated in Ogden and Bountiful.
She had been employed at IRS, Hill Air Force Base in personnel, Smith’s Food King, Albertsons, and Nice Corporation, as a bookkeeper. She moved to Ohio with her family in September, 1986. Her hobbies were oil painting, skiing, boating, bowling and golfing.
Surviving are her husband of Salem, Ohio; two sons and one daughter, Darren Mariani, Shane Mariani, both of Ogden; Kristin Bowman, Salem, Ohio; two stepsons, Brian Bowman and Scott Bowman, both of Ogden; one step grandchild. Also surviving are her mother, Jeanine Madison, Ogden; her father, Robert L. Uhrey, Thousand Oaks, Calif; grandparents, Joseph R. and Wylma Murdock, Ogden; three brothers, Ronald Madison, Steve Madison, and Jim Madison, all of Ogden.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Leavitt’s Chapel of Flowers Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park.
